Propecia (Finasteride) 1mg
Containing Finasteride, Propecia is perfectly safe for men but must not be used by genetic females of childbearing age as it can affect an unborn foetus. In trials, only 2% of patients noticed any side effects from using Propecia, and these were mild and of no medical consequence. As Propecia is an anti-androgen it takes about 3 months before results begin to be noticeable and therefore it is designed to be taken continuously. Not only does it prevent further hair loss but in most patients results in significant hair regrowth.
