Who shouldn't take Reductil / Meridia

Important: - Patients suffering from the following conditions should not take Reductil or Meridia:

• High blood pressure
• Heart disease
• Epilepsy
• Liver or kidney disease
• Stroke
• Alcohol or drug addiction
• Glaucoma

Reductil is also not recommended for those who are pregnant or breast feeding. You must not take Reductil if you are taking or have been taking any anti-depressant medication. Reductil is only designed for patients between the ages of 18 and 65.

Reductil / Meridia Side Effects

Some patients experience some mild side effects for the first few weeks while taking Reductil / Meridia - these can include dry mouth, feeling anxious, headache, sweating, or feeling sick. These effects are normally mild and soon disappear. If you suffer any significant other side effects, stop taking Reductil immediately. Do not exceed the stated dose of one capsule daily.
